REV’D JOSHUA OLOWOYO
Meet Reverend Josh
Reverend Joshua Kehinde Olowoyo is an ordained and commissioned pastor, and a graduate of the Christian Leaders Institute (Michigan, USA), where he earned a Bachelor of Divinity. He is a seasoned public administrator, NGO theory analyst, salvation teacher, conference speaker, and currently serves as the Reverend Prelate and Presiding Chaplain of The Ecclesiastical Gospel Mission Worldwide—a non-denominational New Testament church and global outreach ministry established on December 6, 2020.
He is an alumnus of the Political Science faculty at Joseph Ayo Babalola University and holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. A native of Ijero Ekiti, Nigeria, Reverend Olowoyo was raised in a Christian home by Bible school teachers, Elder and Deaconess Olowoyo. His passion for gospel ministry intensified after completing the Leadership Diploma course at the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), under the Living Faith Church Inc.
His early ministry engagements began during his vocational studies at Crown Polytechnic, Nigeria, in 2012, where he served as Vice President of the Living Faith Church Campus Fellowship and Assistant Organizing Secretary of the Joint Christian Campus Fellowship. These roles helped launch his wide-reaching revival ministry and expanded his spiritual influence on campuses.
In 2016, while at Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Reverend Olowoyo’s deep commitment to doctrine and kingdom service led to his election as Prayer Coordinator of the Campus Institution Fellowship—a position he held throughout his university years.
On December 11, 2017, Reverend Olowoyo received a divine confirmation of his higher calling through a series of dreams and spiritual revelations. This led to the birth of The Ecclesiastical Gospel Mission Worldwide, a next-generation missional church with a global end-time revival mandate focused on soul-winning, repentance, and preparation for the heavenly kingdom.
He has received multiple awards from the Christian Leaders Institute (USA), including the Bible Interpretation Award, Christian Ministry Leaders’ Connection Award, Peace Ministry Award, and Pastoral Care Award. He is currently awaiting the designation of Minister of the Word.
Lovingly known as "Reverend Josh", he is married to Lady Grace Olowoyo, a registered clinical nurse, public health practitioner, and ordained women’s minister. They are blessed with two children: Precious Ibukun and Joshua Olowoyo Jr.
